Coding Modifiers: Your Claim May Not Process Without Them!

Compliant and correct coding is an essential element of efficient claims processing.  Often times, compliant and correct coding requires the use of modifiers.  There are two main types of modifiers that most practitioners should be aware of: CPT® Modifiers and HCPCS Level II Modifiers.  This session will cover appropriate use of the modifiers most commonly used, including the documentation needed to support use of these modifiers.  Special attention will be devoted to services performed during the postoperative global period.
